I have read so many reviews but most reviewers seem to write their reviews without buying and reading the product. However, I wanted to be different from the rest so I purchased and read the product to be able to present an honest and objective review. What Can You Learn From Autopilot Profits?

Everyone will learn different things from Autopilot Profits depending upon your goals, the amount of work you put in (yes, it needs work) and your level of expertise. But first let me give a detailed chapter-by-chapter review of the product.

1. Chapter 1: In this chapter, Ewen Chia reveals the 4 magic (Ewen likes to use the word ‘magic’ but I digress) components of a focused market, hot product, marketing strategy and automation.
2. Chapter 2: Here Ewen talks about how to choose a niche. According to Ewen, a small hungry niche is more viable than a lucrative undiscovered niche (which is like the elusive Big Foot).What follows next is my favorite part where Ewen Chia outlines his niche research formula and provides links to some good tools. This is followed by techniques on researching competitors (I would recommend not to be obsessed with competitors) before rounding off by giving his take on what constitutes a ‘good niche’.
3. Chapter 3: This chapter is all about products as Ewen Chia goes about giving his take on what makes a product good and where to find good products. Ewen expounds on the PLR (Private Label rights) type of products and Affiliate Products followed by strategies on choosing a good ClickBank product. This information on ClickBank product selection was very valuable for me.
4. Chapter 4: This chapter deals with marketing the product with information on how to build a website, site structure and URL shortener services. These parts were a little too basic for me but newbies will definitely benefit from this information. Lastly, he discusses generating traffic through 8 different methods including blogging and social media which is a first for any of his products to the best of my knowledge. I’m glad Ewen finally added something current but a little disappointed that he focused solely on Blogger.com and Squidoo. Nevertheless, his eight traffic generating methods are useful but short on details.
5. Chapter 5: This chapter is where the meat is supposed to be with the focus on turning all of this knowledge into an autopilot business. However, I was quite disappointed because Ewen Chia talks about getting paid on autopilot which is a standard because services like ClickBank will send you checks automatically, blogging on autopilot and submitting articles on autopilot. The last two can be quite detrimental to your overall marketing as these are gray hat (at best) and black hat (at worst) techniques. I was expecting Ewen Chia to expound more on running a business on auto-pilot including setting up of auto-responders and other tools.
6. Chapter 6: This chapter is where the smart marketer Ewen Chia ties it all up. He recommends the reader to apply all the knowledge to promote his products with potential commissions on three levels. Even though Ewen doesn’t mention it, you can still use this knowledge to promote other products apart from Autopilot Profits.

What’s Good In Autopilot Profits – Niche Research

I consider myself an intermediate affiliate marketer but in the niche research section (Chapter 2), I learned a few practical things that I can apply quickly making this section of the book my personal favorite. In this chapter, Ewen starts off by defining two types of niches:

1. Untapped Niche: An untapped niche is rare but it gets crowded and competitive once people become aware of its existence.
2. Crowded Niche: While Ewen Chia does not use the word ‘crowded niche’, he recommends finding a niche with lots of potential buyers. A small slice of this niche will be very lucrative.

Simple as it is, I like this advice because a lot of us (including me) get fixated on the riches a potentially untapped niche may bring without realizing how rare these kind of niches are. I also like the fact that Ewen Chia states that the online opportunity seeker niche or the make money online crowd is a great niche when most Internet gurus warn others to stay away from this market because of intense competition. Competition = cash as we all know.

Next, Ewen talks about keyword research and stresses the importance of focusing on long tail keywords with a fair number of searches but minimal competition. The quickest way is to add a modifier to the main keyword. Modifiers are words that make search more specific. Tools listed in this section are NicheBot Classic and WordTracker Free Version.

Keyword research in Autopilot Profits is followed by competitive analysis. Here Ewen recommends to do a phrase search on Google with quotes as it is a quick way to ascertain how many websites are optimized for that search phrase. The niche will be lucrative if there are less than 5,000 search results and if the top results have a Google PR (Page Rank) of less than 3 then dominating the niche will be relatively easy. I would personally also look for the number of ads for the search phrase to test its profitability. Another tool Ewen suggests is Keyword Elite to build keyword lists as well as snoop on competitor’s PPC keywords. He ends this chapter by defining what constitutes a good niche and sets the stage for the reader to venture into the online opportunity seeker niche or the make money online crowd by promoting Autopilot Profits.

How To Profit With Autopilot Profits?

With every product you buy, you got to ask yourself how can you make money from the product. Ewen Chia suggests the following 3 steps:
